What Will it Cost?

In order to determine the cost of any transport the client must first keep in mind that K-9 Cab Pet Taxi will only complete those tasks requested by the client. If, after answering your questions and addressing your concerns, you determine that hiring a professional pet transportation company is in your best interest the routine costs associated with any airline transport will include:

  • The cost of the flight, determined by the weight of the pet within the airline carrier
  • The cost of veterinarian services for the health certificate, rabies tag and other testing
  • The fee for USDA endorsement, if needed
  • Booking and consultation fees
  • Cost of air carrier
  • VIPet valet transportation to/from the airport

K-9 Cab Pet Taxi cannot give any potential client an accurate estimate until we know the extent of the services they desire, the location of the destination and weight and breed of their pet. When it comes to long distance ground transportation the costs are relatively fixed but will mostly be determined by a standard pickup fee and a cost per loaded mile (odometer reading when the pet is first tendered into our care and ending odometer reading when the pet is released to the representative authorized by the client). Our estimate is based on Mapquest and will not change if actual mileage is within 5% of projected mileage or unless the destination changes. Each transport is different so for an accurate estimate please contact K-9 Cab Pet Taxi
